The Graduate Program in Languages and Literatures: Literary Theory and Cultural Criticism aims at developing researches on Literature and other discourses, taking into account mainly the matters regarding memory and cultural identity.

RESEARCH LINES

Literature and Cultural Memory

Study of the narrative, poetic and dramatic text, aimint at researching the cultural appropriation processes and translations which lead to local and national traditions in transnational context.

Discourse and Social Representation

Study of processes of social representation in textual and discursive practices, approaching aspects regarding genre, strucutre and formal resources of language, aiming at reflection on relations between discourse, culture and society.International visitors, please click here.
