The Graduate Program in Agricultural Sciences (PPGCA) of UFSJ / Campus Sete Lagoas was commended by CAPES in 2011 and has as partners Embrapa Corn and Sorghum, Emater and Epamig.
The program is established in a strategic region of Minas Gerais, creating an important link to sustainable agricultural development through the production of scientific and technological knowledge. In this scenario, we can mention its qualified academic staff that has been contributed with good fund raising through research projects and partnerships with Embrapa, Emater and Epamig.
The program aims:
- Training professionals with a solid scientific foundation in the Agricultural Science area;
- Educating highly qualified human resources that would satisfy the demands of different purposes in social structure like leading-edge education and research;
- Promoting integration among productive and academic sectors, and society as a whole on behalf of mutual advantages and free access.
