Health Services Evaluation; Prehospital Care; Indicators of Quality of Life
This study evaluated the quality of life at work and its associated factors in 128 professionals from a regional área of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU). An online form was used, containing a sample description questionnaire and the Quality of Work Life Scale (QWLS), Job Stress Scale, Individual Lifestyle Profile (PEVI) and the Short Index of Job Satisfaction (SIJS). Most participants had moderate quality of life at work. The factors associated with a better quality of life at work were: lower job stress, better lifestyle profile and higher job satisfaction. The impact of stress on quality of work life was not moderated by job satisfaction or lifestyle profile. Contrary to what is commonly expected, the results showed satisfactory levels of quality of life at work and other occupational indicators.
