The musical expressiveness of APAE children in São João del-Rei (mg) from a phenomenological perspective
Musical education. Intellectual disability. Phenomenology.
The research “The musical expressiveness of children from Apae in São João del-Rei (MG) from a phenomenological perspective” aims to describe and understand the musical experience of children from a phenomenological perspective. The theoretical approach of Phenomenology presupposes the unveiling of meanings by the subjects themselves, as well as the positivization of childhood and the particular way of being of children. The research proposal is of a qualitative and phenomenological nature, based on the observation of children in musicalization workshops of the Extension Program “Música na Apae” as a professor in the Department of Music at UFSJ. It is considered that investigating the musical expressiveness of children from Apae in São João del-Rei (MG) is a task that requires immersion in the field of study and an intimate coexistence with the phenomenon and its subjects.
