Organizational factors that influence the inclusion of people with functional differences at work

The objective of the present study was to identify organizational factors that contribute to people with functional differences to feel included at work. Ethical-organizational and psychosocial parameters, as well as characteristics of the work design were used. A cross-sectional survey was carried out with 86 participants with functional differences who were working at the time of the survey, over 18 years old, of both sexes, and from different regions of Brazil. It is concluded that the main organizational factors that influence the inclusion of people with functional differences within organizations are the ethical-organizational parameters and the work design items that deal with autonomy in decision-making, social support and interdependence for professional deliveries. , in addition to the perception of a low concentration of people with functional differences in the same sector. Theoretical and practical implications of the results are discussed.
