Hybridity in the professional training of Translators Interpreters of Sign Language and Portuguese and implications of this process: a discursive document analysis

The profession of the Translator and Interpreter of Sign Language-Portuguese (TILSP) has undergone a significant evolution, ceasing to be a voluntary service and humanitarian to become a recognized and professionalized área. This trajectory is strongly influenced by the historical and social context in which TILSP emerged.In this sense, the present study seeks to understand, through of Discourse Analysis in the light of Pêcheux (1996, 2001) and Orlandi (2001), as the Conditions of Production of the speech impact the professional identity and the TILSP's role in society. Therefore, this research intends to analyze the current legislation and identify how the (Re)signification of identity occurs of TILSP as a professional, especially in relation to changing your function of mere welfare aid, for the inclusion of the deaf. To reach For this purpose, the main contracting documents of the TILSP in Minas Gerais state , as well as the curriculum of the training course in Bachelor's degree Letras Libras at UFSC, in addition to other relevant legislation about TILSP.This research is expected to make a significant contribution to discussions on the training of Portuguese Libras Translators and Interpreters, providing important insights into the identity and importance of this professional in today's society.
