SUMMARY:

This research intends to discuss the theoretical and practical analyses elaborated by the World March of Women regarding domestic work. It will be presented the trajectory of this social movement and the reasons that define this movement as antisystem, anticapitalist, antipatriarchal and antiracist, articulating the definition of its principles with the analyses regarding domestic work. The feminist economy approach as the main theoretical tool for women's emancipation will be discussed. There will be analysed the bibliographic sources published by the World March of Women along the last two decades, consisting of papers from academic feminists who participate in the reflections about the objectives, goals and challenges of the movement, especially the feminist economy approach. The objective is to understand how the theoretical production is formulated and how it guides the political struggle of the movement, especially in respect to the inequalities involved in the domestic work in the society. By this way, the World March of Women makes explicit its commitment with a feminist and anticapitalist struggle for the construction of a society based on the sustainability of life.
