Political situation; public intellectual; public debate; social networks.
This paper aims to map the interpretations of Brazilian intellectuals about the rupture of the political project of class conciliation proposed by the Workers' Party from 2003, which accommodated the interests of dominant sectors of society while implementing social policies that benefited the poorest segments. . To do so, we chose two intellectuals - Lilia M. Schwarcz and Jessé Souza - who are part of the public debate on the situation in the period from the June 2013 Manifestations, through the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff 2016 and the election of Bolsonaro in 2018 We will seek this understanding from the performance of these intellectuals in digital media, their participation in social networks and with the analysis of their works most relevant to the topic.
