SUMMARY:
  • This research seeks to understand the possible impacts of the Extension Program “Scientific Research Community” (CIF), of the Philosophy Education Laboratory (LAFIL), belonging to the Department of Philosophy, Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ) , in classes in the early years of elementary school, from a state school in São João del-Rei, in which I work as an effective teacher. The path I started to take, started from the curiosity of knowing more about philosophy for children, by realizing that something had changed in my students, with their participation in the project. During the research, I started to wonder about the school environment, which I was already familiar with, asking about the possible impacts of the ICF, no longer on the students, but on the pedagogical work of the teachers who inhabited that school space. For this scientific journey, I used the Case Study methodology and as a tool for the construction of data, we used the narrative interview with two teachers who received the ICF in the classes for which they taught. The content analysis was chosen to analyze the interviews and reflect on the possible impacts of the ICF, in the teaching pedagogical practice, in the training of teachers, in the relationship of the projects with the schools that receive them.
