TITLE:
ACCUMULATION OF DRY MATTER AND NUTRIENTS IN SUGAR CANE, ROCK CANE SUBMITTED TO TWO FERTILIZATION STRATEGIES

KEY WORDS:
Fertilization. Phosphorus Solubilizer. Sacharum spp. Phenology.

PAGES: 73
BIG AREA: Ciências Agrárias
AREA: Agronomia
SUBÁREA: Fitotecnia
SUMMARY:
- Sugarcane is one of the main crops produced in the country and with an average
productivity of 75t ha-1, managing its fertility becomes increasingly essential so that the
crop can increase its productive potential. And in order to seek new management alternatives
for fertility with the use of solubilizer bioinputs. The present work will be carried out in an
experimental area at UFSJ, Sete Lagoas campus, in a first ratoon cane field, implemented with
the RB 86-7515 cultivar, early-medium cycle, in the spring-summer of 2020. The objective of
this work was to evaluate the accumulation of dry matter, macro and micronutrients in
sugarcane regrowth as a function of the collection times of the plants, in areas with and
without the use of phosphorus solubilizer applied in the planting furrow. The experimental
design was in randomized blocks with treatments arranged in a factorial scheme 2
(fertilization strategies – with and without bioinputs) x 8 (plant collection times – 3 in the
tillering phase and 3 in the stalk growth and development phase and 2 in the maturation
phase), with 4 replications, with regression analysis being performed for the season and
average test for interaction and fertilization if it is significant through the Scoot Knoot
average test at 5%.We can observe that the presence of phosphorus solubilizing bioinputs
contributes significantly to the better development of the sugarcane field in relation to non
use, it showed an increase in productivity of 10 t ha-1 at the end of the cycle, we can also
observe that it contributed to the anticipation of the cut because the solubilizer contributes to
the availability of nutrients, making the sugarcane field better absorb nutrients from the soil,
accelerating its development.
