CHAN TRANSFORMATIONS AND EFFECT OF SURFACE TERMS ON CHIRAL ANOMALY IN THE NAMBU-JONA-LASÍNIO MODEL
QCD, Anomalies, NJL, Chan’s transformation, Meson π
These notes register themes about ambiguities in Quantum Field Theory, at low energies scale there are cases that Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) does not describe simultaneous preservation of Vector and Axial currents (Chiral Anomaly), the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model (NJL) rewrite effective Lagrangian for physical quantities without the presence of divergences. With arguments supported by chiral symmetry in bosonization version of SU(2) NJL model, the intent is to use the "Chan Transformations"(arbitrary routing) to eliminate ambiguities in pion physical parameters in the Goldberger-Treiman relationship (decay constant, mass and coupling constant).
