AIURUOCA AND THE MATUTU COMMUNITY: A VIEW ON THE VIRTUALIZED IMAGE CONSTRUCTION
Aiuruoca; Matutu Community; Imagetic construction; Place.
This paper aims to develop an essay about the imagetic construction of the Matutu Community in the context of the municipality of Aiuruoca, located in the south of Minas Gerais, carrying out analyzes on the discourse reports provided by tourists in the virtual environment. These reports, available on blogs and portals, allow us to understand the way that visitors describe the location and also to suggest the idealized image that new tourists develop from contact with such texts. Starting from the concepts of place, space and landscape and its relation to topophilia as a category of analysis for the construction of images, inserted in the technical scientific informational medium, the discourse reports will be collected using netnographic techniques and analyzed through content analysis. The imagetic relationship between the rural location and the municipality, in which it is inserted, is a guiding element in this study, specifically aiming, through the perceptions of visitors, to understand if there is any level of dissociation of the image of the Matutu Valley with the city of Aiuruoca.
