The pyrrole plays a fundamental role in the synthesis of organic compounds, and multicomponent reactions, studied by Khan, Silveira, and Sarkar, have been explored for this purpose. Photocatalysis, especially with blue LED, emerges as a promising approach for the synthesis of pyrroles, offering environmental benefits. In this study, the objective was to analyze the synthesis of functionalized pyrrole rings through a multicomponent reaction, investigating the impact of blue LED and applying the principles of green chemistry. Novel compounds (6)(8)(12)(13) and (16) were synthesized, and existing synthesis conditions were optimized, including cromene-pyrrole with different carbonyl compounds. The feasibility of photocatalysis with blue LED was explored, opening new possibilities for innovative syntheses. In summary, this study not only produced novel compounds and improved synthesis conditions but also investigated the potential of blue LED photocatalysis in multicomponent reactions. These results contribute to advancing synthetic methodologies in organic chemistry, paving the way for future research aimed at fully elucidating the underlying mechanisms and exploring the full potential of these approaches in the synthesis of organic compounds of interest.
