The present research intends to discuss the senses of perception in an artistic creative process uniting sound and image. The apparent subjective theme becomes clearer as it finds support in the work of a specific author chosen to guide this research, the Canadian composer and researcher Raymond Murray Schafer. His studies on “soundscape” made him a pioneer in the way he works in teaching and approaching contemporary music and in the importance of paying attention to the sounds that surround us and that affect us on a daily basis. It highlights the development of a sensitive perception, better auditory accuracy of ambient sounds and its relationship with quality and sound reception and the experience in this relationship with creative processes and improvisation, while also acting in a sustainable process in the search and improvement. of social well-being and the environment. The Imaginary of Sant’Ana in its manifestations Mãe, Mestra and Guia is the cut that complements this study in the relationship between sound and image in this research. The sacred art that intends to bring its mystical, physical, literary, feminine manifestations and interpretations closer to the universe of musical sensory perception in a creative process in Art, Sound and Image.
