SUMMARY:

The work is justified from the observation of the need to develop
analyzes aimed at contributing to future social, solidary and sustainable actions based on
of initiatives of social groups and/or of the public power and later aggregated to the
society.
In the Brazilian context, it is observed that there are people in vulnerability
socioeconomic conditions that are devoid of real opportunities for improvement in
quality of life consequences of various sociopolitical contexts and aggravated with the
Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, there are several problems regarding the
public management from the social and economic issues that suffer from the increase in
segregation of social classes in the country.
Some groups, in addition to the questions initially presented, also
for problems linked to food security as a result of the impacts
negative socioeconomic conditions. These groups, among some alternatives, have sought to
some solutions based on the so-called solidarity economy. This, among some
alternatives, has worked with actions based on the practice of agroecology as
support within needy communities through community mobilization
articulated with the government.
Bringing these reflections to a specific reality in the State of Minas
Gerais there is the city of Santa Cruz de Minas, which presents at the same time
potential for initiatives and consolidation of solidarity actions, mainly in the area
of urban agroecology as well as the negative aspects of the absence or
weakening of public policy. And this research can help
clarifications and new proposals aimed at the sustainability of these actions by the
groups and the government.
In the academic field, this work seeks to add knowledge to the fields of
study that address actions in small municipalities of practices such as agroecology,

aimed at working with people in social vulnerability, emphasizing in this case
intense moments of social, structural and financial crisis, as was the beginning of
covid-19 pandemic.
It also seeks to present questions and hypotheses that
will generate new research on the topic addressed, incorporating in its scope
academic contribution to the three pillars of the research program, representing the
through the work actions of the target agroecological group of the study. the urbanities
will be present highlighting the municipality of Santa Cruz de Minas and the garden space
agroecological. And finally, sustainability, present in the agroecological study addressing
contributions to the environment and also the relationships established in the
job.
The study also inserts the line of research – Diffusion Process:
Popularization, Education and Applicability – in promoting unique debates when
deal with the widespread theme from the contemporary perspectives that prevail and impact
society as a whole. Creating ways to observe actions that have already been implemented, but
in times and with opportunities that had not yet emerged as experiences in the
field of academic research.
