SUMMARY:

Thinking about an artistic work that reproduces itself through typical characteristics of its own
groupality and its place of insertion in the urban space allows us to understand the socio-spatial
dynamics that permeate the problems related to the identity issues of group Teatro Construção
and its relationship with its hometown Lavras-MG. Given this context, this research aims to
understand the existing relationship between the city-stage-audience, investigating the new
routes created by the theatrical company, its discoveries, afflictions and questions. Given the
above, this work proposes to identify the different contexts in which the group operates, in
addition to proposing an analysis of the city's artistic spaces, including: stages, squares, streets,
alternative locations and any territory that can support the action theatrical. Thus, analyzing not

only the final product of the shows, but also registering the process of discovering the pseudo-
stages that the company begins to occupy. For this, historical rescues were made on the group's

activities, identification maps, in addition to living memory, iconographic and filmographic
records, creating in this sense a group collection that can serve for future consultations by other
companies that see in this research a path of discovery for its maintenance. Considering the line
of research “Creative Processes”, which the work is designated, the investigation was also
extended to the artistic praxis based on the volatility of the process, allowing conscious
experimentation of the urban profile and the collectivity of the process in the creation of
investigative paths that find not only on the stage or the street, but in between, between the
stage and the street.
