MUQUIFOCA: affective, rhizomatic and creative construction

Narrating and analyzing a popcorn cart, which became a museum in 2015, named Muquifoca, was the main path of this dissertation. Through cartography and active participation in the events, this unusual way of exposing collections and memories is studied, which leads the museum beyond its walls, reaching the community and institutions and places outside the same. We analyze the connections that Social Museology encourages, always using the interdisciplinarity as a basis, which allows museums a new format, with freedom of doing and undoing, placing and removing, always giving voice to its interlocutors, with dialogue, worrying about the problems of the territory and its residents, making art, thinking about urbanity and environmental and social sustainability. The possibility of having a museum education, non-formal, which encourages creativity and the acquisition of social awareness, when you can to be critical, questioning the lived reality. The dissertation questions the hegemonic and eurocentric of traditional museums, when researching the possibilities and certainties of the new 21st century museums that are concerned with human beings, their relationships and memories. O popcorn cart museum is innovative, provocative, liberating and becomes important educational and communication device, such as the help of its mediators.
