TURNING MIRROR OVER and Building NARRATIVES: Education under the perspective of Visual Culture, starring knowledge and activating memories

Through an autobiographical and poetic narrative, the research proposes a reflection on the pedagogical practice of our schools, having as a starting point the textbook and the images contained therein, either in its figurative format or in its lexical aspect. By mapping affective memories from her childhood and also from her teaching and academic experience, the author proposes to discuss the importance of a transforming school capable of allowing new ways of looking, contemplating the imagery field in which the actors are inserted and the space in which they live . TURNING the mirrors over, therefore, referring not only to experimenting with new ways of seeing, above all to establishing new NARRATIVES that echo all possible voices.
