Creative Learning with Organic Materials: transdisciplinarity in the Youth Center for Science and Culture
Creative Learning, sustainable materials, Youth Center
The object of the research is based on experimentation and the study of teaching and learning methodologies, developed with sustainable Creative Learning (CA) practices, using organic, reusable materials with low environmental impact. Using the AC spiral, represented below, the research was inspired by the researcher's concerns about the large amount of waste produced during some Creative Learning activities. After that moment, came the period of elaboration of the research project and the possible methodologies to be explored in the workshops with the students. Imagining, creating, playing, sharing and reflecting are present in the development and application of methodologies, in the reflection on the creative and methodological processes, in the systematization and sharing of research stages and conclusions. Thus, the activity proposed here is configured as a meta-research, since to research about CA, the CA itself is used to structure the project from its conception. The object of the research therefore becomes designing Creative Learning activities in a sustainable way. The work is carried out at the Youth Center for Science and Culture in Barreiras, Bahia.
