SUMMARY:

The general objective of this research is to analyze the APAC methodology, that is, the activities developed with the rehabilitated APAC of São João del-Rei, through a case study on the procedures that stimulate their reintegration into society and the appreciation of this citizen. . The interest in this theme arose from family experiences with people in the APAC rehabilitation process in the city of São João del-Rei. The conceptual platform that sustains this research is composed of concepts related to issues of citizenship, social responsibility, resocialization process, public policies and the issue of education in environments of deprivation of liberty. Therefore, the object of this research is the philosophy of APACs in Brazil and the changes caused by the context of facing Covid19. This study has as object the methodology adopted by APAC of São João del-Rei (MG) that seeks to promote the structuring of the identity of the “recovering” subject. The methodology of this research will be the case study, highlighting the techniques of data collection, semi-structured interviews and participant observation. data analysis technique will be content analysis. This scientific investigation is expected to raise the standard of quality of life of those recovering in the institution's process.
