Graphic and visual arts in fauna conservation
wild animals, conservation, art-science
The advancement of activities carried out by human beings could cause loss of species, if compensatory actions, complementary to the Forest Code, are not implemented in Public Policies. Thus, animals increasingly suffer from the loss of natural territory, issues such as deforestation, increase in urban centers, increase in monoculture, roads, interference with rivers, accentuate the climate crisis, generating environmental imbalance. These chains of actions affect not only the animals, but also the population. In this way, this project proposes investigative research in graphic and visual arts, in non-formal education for children and young people, with the objective of developing graphic, interdisciplinary material in visual arts, information design and non-formal environmental education. Based on the UN (United Nations) proposals in the 2030 agenda, through the SDGs (sustainable development goals), being SDG 14 – Life in water, SDG 15 – Life on land and SDG 4 – Quality education.
