SUMMARY:

A popcorn treat, abandoned in a vacant lot, is turned into a museum. This happens at Muquifu, Museu dos Quilombos e Favelas Urbanos, in Belo Horizonte, O Muquifoca, Muquifu no popcorn cart, appears in 2015 as another instrument to bring stories and memories to spaces such as courts, schools and various events. Communicate and educate, through play, affection, creativity, diversity; how diverse should be all Museology and forms of knowledge sharing. The objective of the research and dissertation is to narrate and analyze a popcorn cart transformed into a museum, and its exhibitions, which communicate and educate, reverberating memories and social and historical awareness, in an urban periphery.
