The impact of the pandemic on learning: the case of the Special Regime for Non-Present Activities (REANP) in Minas Gerais

The objective of this work is to evaluate the Special Regime for Non-Presential Activities (REANP) from the perspective of the performance of high school students from the state network in SAEB and ENEM. It seeks to assess whether the strategies developed by the state of Minas Gerais in the field of education were sufficient to maintain the levels of student performance indicators and the quality of education. For this, the following will be carried out: a documental analysis of the actions developed by the Education Department of Minas Gerais within the scope of REANP; a comparison of the average performance of high school students in Minas Gerais in the 2019 and 2021 editions; a statistical analysis of the performance of high school students in Minas Gerais in the ENEM in the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
