Urban narratives; dramaturgy; Excompanhia de Teatro
The present study based on the analysis of the performance of the Excompany of Theater and the practical exercises that were developed in the discipline Presença e Espaço, taught by Professor Maria Clara Ferrer, in the Theater course - UFSJ (Federal University and São João del Rei), where I worked as an intern, proposes to investigate the possible relationships between dramaturgy and urban space. For this purpose, the assembly will be analyzed: Absent Frequency 19Hz (2015) and practical exercises (body architecture, performative practices and cinematographic composition exercises), with regard to the creative processes of dramaturgical construction. The research aims to reflect on contemporary artistic forms that are directly linked to what constitutes the particularity of an urban space to know; architecture and historical load as a motto for dramaturgical creation. In reconstructing each experience, I propose to understand how contemporary theater in its most varied and complex forms of theater making explores environments other than the traditional theater to be integrated with the urban space.
