"Sortilégio - Mistério Negro": Search for the understanding of political and social dramaturgy committed to reality.
Analysis; Aquilombamento; Black Theater.
This study is concerned with the reflection and investigation of the means and the dramatic art that permeate the work of playwright Abdias Nascimento, which led to the construction of the dramaturgy of the play "Sortilégio - Mistério Negro" (Sortylégio - Black Mystery). The research aims to unfold the concept of aquilombamento from the analysis of the dramaturgy of the play Sortilégio-Mistério Negro. For the methodological investigation, the dialogue between racism and aquilombamento will be conducted to reflections through the theoretical contributions of the book "O Quilombismo -Document of a Pan-Africanist militancy", by Abdias Nascimento. From the readings, we will analyze the scenic possibilities and considerations that the works approach in order to understand which scenic mechanisms the group/dramaturg used, with the intention of taking their scenic and social reflections to the public, later transforming them into training narratives for the use of teachers in contemporary times. The present text contains the research project in which we can have notions of how the concepts will be approached, both at the methodological and bibliographical levels. In Chapter 2 we will seek to understand black theater and its black aesthetics, with Prof. Dr. Marcos Alexandre, from the work "O teatro negro em perspectiva: dramaturgia e cena negra no Brasil e em Cuba", ending with theoretical conclusions, in order to guide the understanding of the concept as a whole and in relation to TEN - Teatro Experimental do Negro. In chapter 3 we will analyze the play "Sortilégio", which will lead us to the considerations in chapter 4.
