Innovation indicators: an analysis of the universal public notice projects approved by the Research Development Agency.

This article aimed to analyze the results information about approved research related to universal demand notice of the research support foundation state of Minas Gerais (FAPEMIG), considering the period from 2007 to 2018, to check the innovation potential in terms of materials, products and process. To this analysis was realized data survey about science and technology’s investments reports, reviewing the volume of approved and finished projects relating to the notices able to generate innovation and the corresponding values attributed to these innovations. The results show that the available recourse for research increased in the analyzed period, and most of the investment was for scientific research, followed by technical assistance grants. The number of approved projects that create a kind of innovation, be it minimum, intermediate, or maximum, and the values attributed are considered low corresponding to 36% of the resources designed for research in the universal notice.
