SUMMARY:

In order to promote local social development, municipal public policies aim to reach a certain portion of the population with specific purposes, through laws and social actions that seek to reach a community and thus guarantee certain rights. Thus, the municipal government of Santa Cruz de Minas in 2015, published law No. 977 that institutes the municipal policy of Solidarity Economy in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Minas – MG. For the population involved, the law brought the possibility of income generation, opportunity for social inclusion, training and an alternative for those seeking a paid activity. As it is a recent law, the Solidarity Economy in the city is still in its infancy and lacks further studies, analyzes and incentives to record the actions carried out and the results obtained and, through its analysis, promote the constant improvement of its actions. Registration may support decision-making and a future assessment of public policy institutionalized by Law 977/2015. This study addresses social technologies as a tool to promote the development and improvement of solidary-based enterprises. It proposes the development of a tool based on indicators, with the objective of building support for decision-making by the actors involved in the aforementioned process of actions related to the solidarity economy in the municipality. The literature points out that social technologies are cooperative efforts between social agents, non-governmental institutions, government and research institutions that converge in the interest of leveraging economic, solidary and local development. As a research procedure, the case study will be adopted and, for the definition of indicators, the application of a questionnaire as an instrument for data collection will be adopted. The questionnaires will be answered by the solidarity entrepreneurs involved and by the management team of the city hall. Once the indicators have been defined, the tools Microsoft excel and Power BI will be used to prepare the analytical framework.
